How about calling your next adventure “Turkish Delights” after the very sweet traditional Turkish candy? Have fond memories of meeting you when we both were staying at La Culla -Suore Oblate Del Bambin Gesu (Sorrento 2018) and you were doing research for “Engaging Italy”…….

I am a huge fan of mercy , not permission… which is said “forgiveness, not permission “ in my parts. 😂 I could literally see these things happening as I read this! And not without a big grin ! You made it through with grace!
Thanks for acknowledging that “forgiveness” is the common word in the phrase for many! So many other little moments of frustration—part of travel and life abroad, right? But being cautiously bold is also a good way to move forward…
